Brisbane based indie rock group The Grates come out with their second album, ‘Teeth Lost, Hearts Won’ contains a smorgasbord full of chirpy and melodic tracks. “Milk Eyes” and “Two Kinds of Right” filters through happy chimes that you would hear on a dreamcatcher, “Earthquake” a weird eccentric jam that somehow goes well together, the rock uptempo “Care Your Name” with high pitch croons and “Aw Yeah” with lead singer Patience Hodgson screaming not singing through the track and sounding very strung out.
