MICHAEL PAYNTER TO TOUR NATIONALLY WITH VANESSA AMOROSI NEXT MONTH

Singer songwriter, Michael Paynter has been confirmed to support Vanessa Amorosi on her national tour throughout July, travelling extensively through NSW, ACT, QLD, SA & VIC.

This Melbourne 22 year old’s first single ‘Closer’ is already being added to radio across the country. Michael will be taking his band out on the road performing songs from his forthcoming debut album, This Welcome Diversion.

The album was recorded with U.S. producer Matt Wallace (Faith No More, Maroon 5, Bic Runga, John Hiatt) at Sound City Studios where Fleetwood Mac, Nirvana, Johnny Cash and Tom Petty cut their classic records.

Michael states, “I can’t wait to get out on the road with my band & just do what feels natural to me – play guitar & entertain people. I’m stoked to be touring with an artist like Vanessa Amorosi, it’s incredibly exciting.”
