The Last Goodnight touched down in Australia for a promotional tour recently where they managed to squeeze in a special showcase at Oxford Art Factory on May 6 in their busy schedule.
Drawing to comparisons to Maroon 5, the band’s hit single, ‘Pictures of You’ has reached great mainstream success and has become a memorable and catchy hit.
Playing songs from their album Poison Kiss, the band gave a solid 45-minute show with lead singer Leif Christensen taking turns on the piano. ‘Poison Kiss’, ‘Stay Beautiful’, ‘One Trust’ and ‘In Your Arms’ was included in the set list.
Closing the show, they played ‘Pictures of You’, Christensen admitted to forgetting the lyrics because of a ’20 hour day’ which resulted into him going to the audience to help him finish singing the song. At least he was honest.
